Return To The Kids Day Opener

 
We went to the car show tonight
 
at the opening of Kids Day Weekend
 
since we enjoyed it last year
 
and thought Emmy would too.
 
Even though we had already eaten dinner, I got a cheeseburger
 
and Emmy a soft pretzel to snack on as we walked around
 
the fairgrounds, and then
 
we went to the playground in back...
 
Emmy insisted on keeping her pretzel
 
as we played.
 
She stayed in a few spots
 
while I was everywhere. Wheeee!
 
We went back to the carnival for ice cream
 
since it was getting late
 
and the opening band was coming on...
 
John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band again!
 
After watching for a few songs, we walked the grounds one more time
 
before picking up some iced coffees at Dunkins and heading home.
