Fun Fourth Even Without Fireworks

We went to feed the ducks this morning...

it was pretty quiet (except for the quacking)

and we got to feed them all by ourselves.

They must've been hungry

because more

and more kept coming!

There were even some baby ducks & geese

and some ate right out of our hands!

The ducks sure seemed happy...

I know I was happy

to feed them

hang out and quack!

Emmy was asleep the whole time

but she woke up when we went to the playground!

We both got to play on the ramps and levels

and even though I move around more than she does,

but neither of us would sit still for a picture!

She had a good time checking things out

as did I

working up an appetite

for ice cream!

Little did we know that it would begin to rain just as we were finishing

and that would be the end of outdoor activities today!
