The Best Parade Ever

 
We went to see the fire truck parade for kids day (weekend)
 
but it didn't start on time
 
so Emmy was really happy
 
when we saw the ice cream truck!
 
We got frozen lemonades and happily sipped
 
and chatted with the crowd while we waited.
 
Soon the police cleared the road
 
and the fire trucks began rolling by.
 
There were so many different trucks
 
that we lost count
 
but we didn't care
 
we were having too much fun.
 
Old,
 
new,
 
big,
 
loud trucks rumbled by...
 
Even Smokey the Bear was there!

we were in awe
 
of how many trucks
 
were there with lights & sirens
 
for us to see
 
A dream come true for us little boys, and we hated to see it end!
