Boston Day Trippin'

 
Today we went into Boston to the Children's Museum...
 
Emmy was excited about her first time there and the rest of us since they renovated.
 
We started upstairs in the Construction zone
 
and all drove trucks.
 
Emmy was impressed with the view
 
my musical talent
 
in the making music exhibit...
 
and my jumping skills in the Common!
 
We all got to meet Arthur & company
 
then went to Airplay
 
floated balls in the air,
 
checked out other exhibits and the workshop.
 
Then we went to float boats
 
and played below deck while waiting for a turn steering the boat.
 
Afterwards we went to see the fish
 
and play in the playspace
 
That turned out to be Emmy's favorite because of the cool waterbed!

It was getting crowded so we headed out for lunch
 
then over to Castle Island
 
to watch the planes,
 
the view
 
and boats.
 
We even saw people clamming and fishing!
 
After we walked around
 
we headed for the playground
 
climbed around
 
and had a great time
 
on the spiral slides!
 
As we headed off for ice cream
 
the sky drew darker
 
and then the rain fell
 
just as we were purchasing our ice cream!
 
After eating some and watching the rain pour down and lightening flash, we headed to the truck and home sweet home!
