Dairy Fresh

 
Since we were all up early, we went to the dairy farm...
 
it was too early for most of the cows
 
but not for the bakers!
 
We got some yummy things to take home
 
including some farm fresh
 
chocolate milk
 
in my size containers
 
and some breakfasy pastries
 
Emmy couldn't eat everything
 
or drink the milk
 
but she enjoyed the experience and empty container anyway!

Piggy Tails!

 
Mommy tried to put my hair up...
 
the clips kept coming out, even when she wet my hair...
 
so I didn't think they'd last very long
 
the way I move around
 
but we put their holding power to the test
 
by going outside
 
and playing in
 
my baby pool...
 
Nicholas was content playing outside of the pool
 
while I got in for a quick dip
 
then back out when Irene came over.
 
We sat & chatted for awhile
 
then she played with Nicholas
 
at the swingset
 
while we were waiting for Daddy to come home.

A Passing Grade

After my hearing test this morning
 
we went out for breakfast
 
where I got a yummy pancake...
 
and then we went to the Children's Museum in Providence.
 
Of course we stopped at the fish first
 
and played in the dog house
 
before heading upstairs
 
to play with the trucks
 
and build bridges and roads
 
along the Iway...
 
they even had a bridge to climb, a boat to drive and a crane my size!
 
Then Emmy went to play with blocks and magnets
 
while I played scientist with a microscope.
 
While I ran around, Emmy sat aboard the ship and then shopped in the bodega,
 
then we all met up in Littlewoods...
 
Emmy checked out the toys in the Babynest while I slid,
 
picniced and jumped rocks by the cave
 
until she joined me, watching herself in the mirror by the stream

 
Lastly we checked out the garden instruments
 
then sat and had a snack.
 
We didn't see and do everything because it was crowded
 
but I had fun
 
and Emmy seemed to enjoy her first visit!

After Dinner Dip

 
When Daddy came home we all went in the pool...
 
me in my boat,
 
and Nicholas tried out his new vest.
 
It gives him more space to play, but doesn't let him swim as well as with his tube...
 
I really like my boat
 
but since I'm becoming more daring at reaching into the water
 
I may need a tube soon in case I fall out!
 
 
Nicholas was just happy to be able to play with his toys
 
and know that he would stay afloat!
