Snowed In

We were snowed in today!

Good thing since I have a bit of a tummy bug...

All day we saw white and heard wind...

too bad I can't have cocoa yet, it was that kind of day.

It kept coming down all morning...

then it turned to rain...

then back to snow! We even had thunder!

Big wet flakes were falling...

and the wind blew the snow onto all the doors and windows...

even the wreath on the porch got covered!

You couldn't tell that the driveway had been plowed...let alone the street...

the trees and bushes were so heavy with snow and ice...

but it looked pretty when you looked out the window past the tree...

and tonight most of the lights glow under the snow...except the tiny trees!
