Sesame Place: Day One!

 
We arrived at Sesame Place bright & early
 
and were welcomed by Big Bird, Elmo & Snuffy!
 
Once we got ourselves & our gear settled in
 
we were ready to roll!
 
Our first stop was at the Sesame St fire truck for some driving fun...
 
then we went for a few spins on the Sunny Day carousal!
 
Then after a stop in a gift shop it was onto Elmo's World!
 
 
He had flying fish that we could ride in,
 
a Peek-A-Bug twisty ride
 
and some spinning bowls at Grover's World Twirl! They were strict about no pictures while riding so we didn't get many since we were all on it.
 
Then we wandered over to Big Birds Court & the Monster Maze
 
before taking off in Big Birds Balloon Race!
 
(Another strict no camera enforced while on the ride rule)
 
Next up was going to see Elmo live while he was taping an episode of Elmo's World!
 
After the show we had lunch & Em took a nap
 
High Five Telly!
 
while we waited for the Rock Around The Block parade to begin.
 
We had a chance to meet Bert & Ernie and Zoe
 
and see another show, Big Birds Beach Party!

 
Ernie's Waterworks were a little crowded
 
so we drove the forklift on the docks
 
on our way to Twiddle Bug Land.
 
The giant sandpail slide was fun
 
and the teeny tiny tidal wave pool was nice and calm.
 
We had a fun first day, and we'll be back bright & early tomorrow morning!
