Frigid Friday

We didn't go shopping Friday morning...

it was more fun staying in to play...

Grandma had to work...

but Grandpa was home for awhile...

The girl scouts were decorating the Christmas trees downtown...

and there were going to be some activities before the tree lighting and Santa's visit.

It was pretty cold out...

but we figured we'd check it out.

Brrrrrrrrr...

too cold for a pony ride...

or to pet the animals...

especially since I wouldn't wear my hat or mittens...

So we saw one of the trees...

and went to the diner.

Diners are the best...

too bad we don't have many back home...

I got Daddy's pickle...

soon I'll be ordering off the menu!

Thanksgiving Morning

It only snowed a little Thanksgiving morning...

but it was warm & cozy inside...

I watched the Thanksgiving Day parade before getting dressed...

I looked pretty sharp huh?

Check out the shoes!

They didn't stay on very long ya know...

but I did stay clean and left them on long enough for everyone to get to Grandma's for dinner...

It was tough trying to stay out of trouble while we waited...

but Momma...

and Daddy kept an eye on me...

To pass the time we played football...

I like my football...

I'm not very good at it...

but I like it!

Thanksgiving Dinner

Eventually everyone that was coming arrived...

Grandma...

and Grandad...

Momma's cousin Michael...

and Great Grandma...

Finally we could eat!

I couldn't believe how much food there was...

it barely fit on the table...

I had my eyes on a drumstick...

Yuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm

I had turkey before...

but not like this...

between the other foods...

and the drumstick...

I was full!

But there's always room for dessert...

I just sat in my chair...

and played with my toys...

until it was time for dessert.

My own pie...

complete with...

whipped cream!

I had a gingerbread man cookie too...

not bad...

but I like my biscuits better...

Mmmmmmmmmmm...

and some juice to wash it down...

and then it was time to play!
